My whole idea for this is centred around the strong idea of an 'atmospheric space'. 

There is a strong contrast between the contemporary/industrial design shown through the polished wooden floors and concrete walls. These contrast with the shrubbery and general overgrowth of the insides of the boatshed.

This design is made to be an open communal space with the panoramic glass roof that lets in a large amount of light that then refracts on the pond below onto and around the walls and surrounding trees.

On the front of the shed there are two large cast iron gates that allow the shed to still be an open space even if the doors are shut.
